other day was hearing calls in new jersey and the catskills
not sure if there were any calls in nyc

"H Base" is the dispatch office
the bus = an ambulance
they will page out a call multi times till someone responds
a backup - not sure what this means - its either the 2nd or 3rd person
assigned to an ems call apparently
sometimes field units units can be heard talking back and forth to
each other - and they can be loud and clear
