northshore fd was there first

green tanker is from usfs - very odd to see a usfs water tender show
up before usfs engines - but it is mendocino natl forest - they only
have approx 10 engines to cover a huge area - and maybe 2 water
tenders

helo and airtankers are from calfire

first engine was out of water after first retardant drop - could see
him wave to the tanker / water tender to send the water

nothing could be done for the house but they kept the fire from
getting into the brush

actually - if the fd arrived 5 or 10 minutes earlier maybe they could
have kept the shed fire out of the house - but you would need a fully
staffed fire station about 2 minutes away - which is highly unlikely
here

let's see if we can find the radio tape - should be good
