https://www.radioreference.com/db/browse/ctid/1931 - henderson county
nc - there is a countywide fire dispatch repeater and 3 or 4
countywide fire tac channels (base and mobile) - AND - all 13 of the
local FDs also have their own local repeater - and most have a simplex
local tac channel also - and this is all on VHF highband - and this
might ALL be a backup to the countywide vhf highband NXDN NEXEDGE 4800
TRS
this seems to be a rugged hilly mountainous county
in addition - county ems and county rescue share a vhf highband
repeater system - and have private / local channels as well
the sheriff and 3 local PDs also have vhf highband radio channels -
sheriff has/had 3 repeaters for dispatch - and 3 or 4 tac channels - 1
of the tac channels is a repeater channel
this might be the most robust radio-wise county in the USA
===========================
https://www.radioreference.com/db/sid/7118 - viper - statewide trs -
700T and 800T - henderson county has talkgroups on this system but
they seem to be backup channels
not sure if the state agencies primarily use VIPER or 150 mhz or 47 mhz
even the feds have multi talkgroups on viper
state wildlife has a dozen talkgroups for prescribed burns
blue ridge parkway is now listed as TG 60581 on VIPER
all medevacs use VIPER apparently
=========================
note - hendersonville is in henderson county - henderson nc is in Vance County
note - henderson rescue is the same as henderson county rescue - they
have ambulances and technical rescue trucks
note - henderson county EMS is a different agency than henderson
county rescue - henderson county EMS just has ambulances
its never simple in the usa
