he was removed last month. The school district requested, and the
Select Board followed through, on Tarjick's dismissal, for, among
other reasons, a lack of faith in his de-escalation abilities.

Pittsfield firefighters delivered coats to children at the Boys and
Girls Club as part of Operation Warm

A crew of 12 firefighters volunteered Thursday to pass out children's
coats, which were made locally in Massachusetts and were donated
through an annual partnership between the Professional Fire Fighters
of Massachusetts Foundation, the Boston Bruins Foundation and
Operation Warm.
