You can tell it's not Australia. Almost every farmer has a water tank
and fire pump he puts on the back of a Ute or truck in the Summer. You
would also have an army of locals turning up with their equipment to
help fight the fire. Backpacks sprayers, chainsaws, Hoes and rakes
they would all be there with the locally elected bush fire brigade
Captain calling the shots before the big boys arrived if they were
needed. Every truck has a two way radio too. Bush Fires are that
feared and respected as part of life here.
