we found yet another fire station at Bradley Airport
Manchester FD has a ff/pm at each of their 7 stations
Glastonbury serves 35,000 people with a volunteer FD
the map now has 'flames' for paid fire stations - and the map has
'stars' for volunteer or day manned stations - they seem to be 50/50
FT vs PT stations
we added CT USAR TF1 at Brainerd Airport - they are apparently in
those unmarked blds next to the new fire station - we spotted those
garages earlier but had no clue what was inside
we didnt include the 911 PSAP info - it goes like this more or less -
each city and town in Hartford County has their own PSAP - and cell
calls from the Interstate highways go to the state police barracks -
however
- CSP Troop H might get 911 calls from the State Capitol Complex in Hartford
- CSP Bradley Airport gets 911 calls from Bradley Airport - not quite
sure where calls from the ARNG base end up
- East Granby has Tolland County as PSAP
- Hartland might have Litchfield County as PSAP - need to double check
that - the 2 FDs in Hartland are dispatched by Litchfield County Fire
Dispatch
- Farmington PD is the PSAP and dispatch point for Avon and Burlington also
- 911 calls from the UConn Hospital in Farmington go to the UConn
Police (maybe at Storrs)
- Marlboro has Tolland County as their PSAP
- and last but not least - Glastonbury is the PSAP for East Hampton
(but E Hampton is not located in Hartford County so we just dont care)
