we used local drivers at night, who were paid an on-call rate to

standards of care, and the lack of local drivers, we now pay both an
EMT and a paramedic to be inside the building at all times. Every
other squad in the area now pays two providers 24/7. We were the last

through the end of this year by an ARPA grant we received in April for

into a communications officer, pushing him slightly away from the
console.
Just after the crash, Shrewsbury police said they received a 911 call
from someone saying that McCluskey "was on his way to the station to
conduct a 'suicide by cop'."

for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and are working to
identify and solve the issue quickly," the statement read. "We
understand how important reliable connectivity is and apologize for
the inconvenience."
According to Downdetector, at 12:42 p.m. ET, about 180,000 users
reported experiencing issues with Verizon's services.
