armstrong p1 on arlington fd freq

armstrong p1 is a transport unit tonight

something is happening on 460.60 r - iirc we have heard transporting
units from armstrong recently that has included P6 and P9 - these are
all new IDs in the ast month or so

probably associated with medford switching over to ambulance coverage
by cataldo ambulance

historically arlington was covered by the NSP P3 SUV staffed by
Armstrong from maybe 1990 to 2020 - and then Armstrong P15 ambulance
served arlington from approx 2020 to 2026 - now there is a smorgasborg
of units

it will be intersting to see what the weekend brings

during the recent snowstorm arstrong had FS1 based in arlington with 2
people on board - pretty sure that is a suv or pickup truck - usually
staffed by 1 medic

recently arlington has been sending R1 ad P15 to advanced calls -
sometimes P15 wil transport alone - soetimes P15 and R1 will transport
together - sometimes they even take a firefighter off a engine to
drive P15 to the hospital - quite often R1 will transport and do a
rendevouse with a Medford als unit - but seemingly never with a
belmont or winchester or kexington als unit - sometimes R1 can
rendezvous with a pro and cambridge fd als unnit

onetime Cambridge E1 went to lahey with Arl R1 - have not heard a
replay of that in over 2 years

have not heard any cataldo ambuances come into arlington in about 5 years

have never heard an als engine from belmont or lexington come top
arlington either
