According to the report, McCluskey drove his vehicle, a black BMW, "at
an excessive rate of speed and intentionally drove into the front of
the Shrewsbury Police Department building, crashing through the lobby,
which is open to the public 24 hours a day, and coming to rest inside
the communications center, causing massive amounts of damage."

At the time, three civilian communications officers were inside the
center working as dispatchers. The center dispatch console was pushed
into a communications officer, pushing him slightly away from the
console.

Just after the crash, Shrewsbury police said they received a 911 call
from someone saying that McCluskey "was on his way to the station to
conduct a 'suicide by cop'."

[ good thing I didnt take that 911 call - we would still be cussin
them out today ]
