the zerg90 map for Rockingham County NH has been updated

recently exeter hospital stopped their paramedic program - and
PrideStar stopped their paramedic program - so several FDs started new
ambulance services

we created a new ambulance layer for the map - red ambulances are FD
paramedic ambulances - red stars are FD AEMT ambulances - red flames
are FD EMT level non transport units (first responders) - red pin is
FD AEMT non transport unit - not sure what New Castle is - (might be
FD EMTs on engine with Portsmouth FD amb) - purple is cross staffed FD
medic ambulances - black is odd balls - not exactly sure what Auburn
is doing - maybe AMR covers them out of Manchester

the map markers basically show where every '911' ambulance is based -
some (many) of the stations have more than one ambulance

we used the ems lookup tool on the state website to come up with most
of the info

not quite sure what plaistow is doing - maybe they run 2 als SUVs in
addition to ther ambulances - with 1 SUV being based way up in
Brentwood

it is possible that some of these FD medic ambulances are only
operated day times

some of the ambulances might be staffed by on-call personel

bottom line - 2 major things are going on it seems - the number of
'volunteers' is dropping and the number of paid staff is increasing -
and - the FDs are getting more involved in EMS work

would be willing to bet that all of the PDs also respond to critical EMS calls
