recent falmouth mass fd radio traffic

'alert' - (fire page) - 2 firefighters needed for day tour -
verbalized by a real live human being - Eng 1 to "CO detector no ill
effects" in Dist 1 - computer voice - Eng 2 and Eng 1 to residential
central station alarm in District 2 - computer voice - Eng 4 to a fire
investigation in Dist 4 - computer voice

maybe they dont staff Ladder 1 anymore on a regular basis unles it is
cross staffed by some other unit

ems - (ems page) - going backwards in time - newest to oldest - Med 1
and A5 to medical alarm in Dist 1 - A1 to fall victim with loss of
consciousness (LOC) in Dist 1 - A6 to call in Dist 6 for ?CHF? - cant
always understand the audio - A6 to fall victim with LOC in Dist 6 -
Med 1 and A2 to general weakness in Dist 1 - A1 to vomiting in Dist 1
- A1 to fall victim with LOC in Dist 1

we are still thinking that each station has a crew of 3 and they staff
1 engine and 1 ambulance as needed - except that Sta 1 also has a 2nd
amb and L1 and Med 1 and Car 10 - and except that Sta 4 does not have
an amb - and each call is handled basically by 1 ambulance - and Med 1
is the shift EMS supervisor in a SUV - and Car 10 or Car 3 is the fire
shift supervisor in a SUV

the police might respond to each ems call also - we shou;d check that
out via scanner feed

it is possible that each station runs 1 engine with 3 and 1 amb with 3
- lets see that would be 36 people per shift approx - X4 is 160 - but
they only have 100 people on the staff - its more probable that they
have approx 25 people on duty per shift - lets add that up - 3 people
at 5 sta is 15 - and 10 people at Sta 1 - staffing 1 eng + 2 amb and
Med 1 and Car 10 for a total of 10 if Eng 1 has a 4 man crew - yes
thats probably their setup

they might cross staff the Ladder with the 2nd amb crew at Sta 1

we should hear every ems call in dist 4 handled by eng 4 and an out of
district anb
