what would it take - statewide dispatch in New Hampshire

What would it take to implement statewide 911 dispatch in New
Hampshire? Not just 'call taking" but 'full dispatch' also.

For land mobile radio you would probably need 30 to 50 sites
statewide. They could be linked via microwave - with satellite and
fiber and radio links as backup. Heck 1 backup FX1 on Mt Washington
could probably hit every repeater site in the state.

You would need significant overlap between the radio sites so that the
loss of any 1 site would not create a radio hole.

All mobile units would have MO3 to enable portable radios to have
decent coverage.

Maybe the best way to chose the radio sites is to find all the best
sites that have Internet service. And then add sites that need
microwave paths. Or maybe it would be best to just start out by
assuming that all sites will be linked via microwave. Or maybe it
would be better to link all sites via omnidirectional UHF radios. That
way a hurricane or earthquake would not destroy the microwave paths.

just guessing. but in theory - they system is not that hard to
implement. 4 repeater pars at each site. 1 for police - 1 for
fire/ems. 2 as tac. Heck you could put 5 channels at each site - trunk
them - do TDMA - and get 9 comm paths per site.

Maine sorta has this system - but I dont think it is this robust. Many
sites seem to just have 2 or 3 channels. And there does not seem to be
alot of overlap between sites (for resiliency).
