other Town Boards on how to meet with respect to COVID-19. He said
Planning and Zoning still have business to conduct. Fire Chief Oleson
said he would be agreeable with the Boards meeting at the Town Hall
and he would be willing to screen attendees. Selectman Scalley said he
would rather keep people out of the Town Hall building right now due
to the construction and the hazards on site. Chief Oleson said
meetings can be held at the Fire Station and he can pull the apparatus
out of the bays. He said social distancing and keeping meetings under
10 people would still apply. Selectman Moroney will work with the Land
Use Secretary to get things in place.
John Trammell spoke as Interim Emergency Management Director. He said
he's been working with the Police and Fire Chiefs as well as Peter
Eakley. They've been participating in State EOC calls for COVID-19
related updates three times a week. Chairman Gauthier asked about the
status of campground openings. It was advised that state-wide there is
a great concern of opening campgrounds and spreading the virus. The
Governor has not made an Executive Order to close them as of yet. All
Cities and Towns have been encouraged to contact the Governor's office
to voice their concerns. Both the Fire and Police Chiefs stated they
had done so. Trammell and both Chiefs had drafted a letter to present
to the campground owners in Town to remind them about social
distancing, the Governor's order for self-quarantine for out-of-state
visitors and campground owner responsibility. Chairman Gauthier made a
motion for the drafted letter to be sent to campground owners in Town.
Selectman Moroney seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

decisions to limit businesses and juggle safety from the virus is very

Listening to Capital Fire Dispatch in NH
listened to Capital Fire Dispatch from Concord NH today - the new feed
at Broadcastify - just the dispatcher is heard
same radio procedures apparently as last 40 years - Ch 1 is 154.355 I reckon
Channel 1 - paging and emergency responses
Channel 2 - first fireground channel
Channel 3 - second fireground channel
box alarm calls in Concord get a fireground channel - this includes
master box activations - response is typically 1 pumper plus the
ladder plus 1 ambulance plus maybe the Batt Chief (Car 4)
portable radio on Engine 4 would be O4 or portable Engine 4 or Engine 4 portable
minor calls and EMS calls are not assigned a fireground channel
pre alerts are still used - ie - pager signal plus whooper then
"medical pending" - then 1 minute later - pager signal plus whooper
plus call announced
calls are announced twice - includes units assigned - address - cross
streets - maybe time out also
arrival messages and situation report is given via Ch 1 apparently
the dispatcher can send calls to concord ladder truck via computer

3. If fixed wings cannot get into airports - then helicopters will
have to be used to ferry cargo and people from disaster area to
outlying airports - maybe Bakersfield and Port Hueneme and San
Bernardino or San Diego would be open to large fixed wing aircraft -
helicopters would need to do ferry ops to those airports - I am sure
that OES knows which runways might survive and which might not

all around the USA - Lear Jet ambulances can fly at 600 MPH -
hopefully they are preplanned to fly trauma doctors from NYC to LA -

Arizona fly to outlying airports - or right into the heart of the city
- with medical, police, comms, fire, rescue, etc gear. Medevac fixed
wing begin to move to Bakersfield and San Bernardino. Airports will
get crowded - gonna need to pickup injured people and depart fast.
More and more aircraft will take to the air as military and civilians
mobilize.

pickup truck with 2 shovels. They wont cut it. There will need to be a
massive influx of rescue gear, firefighting gear, medical gear, -

2 State Forestry engines - for a total of 7 engines or brush trucks on
the first alarm

the structure upgrade
and then 13 minutes later 5 more units were sent to the Port of Entry on I5 Nbnd

I feel like a proud non-related auntie. Lol. I saw her when she was a
happy, sleepy baby. Her first time wearing her shoes and trying to
scare her father ....then being a big sister...no music sheets on the
piano. 😶😅 I feel so old. Time passes by like nothing. Love the
encouraging father's voice and laugh. Great parents. Thank you for

I remember when this kid was so little that she couldn't even keep her
head up while looking at her mum because of sleepiness. Now she is
playing the piano so skillfully and beautifully... time flies and I'm
very proud of her!!!

I feel like a proud non-related auntie. Lol. I saw her when she was a
happy, sleepy baby. Her first time wearing her shoes and trying to
scare her father ....then being a big sister...no music sheets on the
piano. 😶😅 I feel so old. Time passes by like nothing. Love the
encouraging father's voice and laugh. Great parents. Thank you for
sharing your adorable precious family's moment. 💖 2020 is crappy, for
sure, but it also taught us to slow down and think of our family and

This is the Vitamin D study that the Boston Herald wrote about - it is
a very simple study actually - they looked at 190,000 covid tests run
by Quest labs between March 9 2020 and June 19 2020 - 9.3% of the
tests were positive for COVID -
Next they matched these results to Vitamin D tests that had been run
on the same patients in the previous year - the analysis shows a
strong relationship between Vit D and sickness - those who had very
low levels of Vit D in their blood were 12% positive for COVID - those
with adequate Vit D were 8% positive for COVID - those with max Vit D
levels were 6% positive for COVID
I am not a stable statistics genius - but it seems to me that if you
want to cut your COVID risk in half, you should try to get adequate
Vit D in your bloodstream

NOTE - different categories + different totals
anybody sense major problems here?
maybe there should be just 1 website per fire - and it should be run
by the 'ordering point' - and it should have all evac orders and all
fire updates - if the ordering point could dedicate 1 position to the
website - maybe it would be useful - it would be good situational
awareness for fire agencies AND the public and for cooperating
agencies
