We further developed our Communications Division by assigning a
Captain and having twelve police dispatchers volunteer to become
dedicated Fire and EMS dispatchers. In addition, we began the process
of implementing Priority Dispatch. Priority Dispatch prioritizes calls
based on nationally accepted criteria.
