listening to EMS Citywide 1 (CW1) channel for a couple of hours
channel can be quiet for up to 20 minutes at a time during middle of the week
mostly admin traffic regarding EMS vehicles in minor accidents
major incidents are announced - preceded by 2 or 3 long beeps
MCI on Staten Island - MERV 5 sent - a 10-21
BA8 sent to a bariatric call
HazTec unit sent to a person stuck on a barbed wire fence - canceled
by CW1 dispatcher when NYPD ESU was cancelled
445 PM - MCI for a 10-77 highrise fire - HazTec 1 + MR 1 + LSU 2 + ?MO 9?
staging location and best access route are given for these incidents
Conditions 40 was taken off the SI MCI call by the CW1 dispatcher
because his lights and siren would not work
