Sudbury Mass - training annex was a superfund site

apparently the military did firefighter training at this site in
Sudbury - or maybe it was testing of military firefighter clothing for
Natick Labs - the superfund info might explain it

I think there are still military homes at the site

Fort Devens had a (sub) fire station there until the 1970s ish - it
was approx 30 miles from the main station

I was at the Fort Devens FD for an open house in the 1980s - asked
about the Annex Fire Station - got a dirty look sorta - guy said - ask
?Dave?, he knows all about it - ?Dave? was about to answer my question
when they got sent to a brush fire
