what effect will uvalde have on the usa fire service?

the overwhelming narrative is that the police were totally incompetent and liars

therefore ... the public will probably want changes ... they might
want truthful leaders and they might want public safety officers in
rural areas ... people who are trained as cops / EMTs / firefighters
.... response times will go way down

in the cities ... it might be too expensive to use cross trained cops
... and the firefighters in big cities also have to handle hazmat
and technical rescue calls
