fdny 2010 info - alarm levels etc

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AHrodpQ8B2x91KsbfMgQgnSvAyk_UNtL/view

minimum first alarm - 3 E + 1 L + 1 BC

first alarm - maximum - if available - 3 E + 2 L + 1 BC - (this must
pertain just to the units listed to the box in the computer on the
first alarm) - in other words - the first alarm max could be 3 E + 1 L
+ 1 BC if one of the ladder trucks on the first alarm is not available

not sure if this have been changed since 2010

signal 10-75 gets 4 eng + 3 lad + 2 BC

signal 7-5 gets 4 eng + 3 lad + 2 BC + 1 deputy chief - (shows as 'all
hands and doubtful' - not exactly sure what that means - it sounds
like if the IC reports all hands or doubtful - then the dispatcher
automatically send the signal 7-5 response - in other words - you will
never hear a field unit request a signal 7-5 - it just gets
transmitted when the dispatcher hears the magic words on the radio

squads and rescues must be considered to be "extra units" above the listed units
