Tip for getting prior auths approved? On the peer to peer physician
call w/ insurance, if the doc denies the service, just ask for the
correct spelling of their last name & medical license # & say "I just
want the medical record to reflect who denied this."

(I am right in the middle of this right now - MD said she was going to
try to get something authorized on Tuesday - have not heard back from
her yet)
it really is an insane system
dont forget that recently there was info that insurers were routinely
denying meds without even looking at the patient info
