MARENGO COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Marengo County Sheriff's Office
reports that Denson Baynham Jr. was arrested again Monday.
Baynham is the chief of the Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad in
Linden. He was arrested last week on charges of first-degree theft of
property and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. Court filings
state he allegedly spent approximately $1,880 on the rescue squad's
credit card.
The sheriff's office says the new charge by the Alabama State Fire
Marshal's Office is for "interfering with public safety
communication."
The details on the latest charge is not yet available.
