actually - old school state common freqs - maybe 1960s and 1970s
mostly - there seemed to actually be some nationwide coordination of
these channels - you can see that no more than 2 or 3 of these states
were on the same channels - thereby reducing the instances of skip
causing problems (in theory)
arkansas - was it 37.10 ?
iowa - ? 39.10
kansas - 39.90 maybe
louisiana - 39.50 - many FDs
mississippi - was it 45.22 ?
ohio - maybe 39.98 ?
nebraska - 39.90 and 39.82 and may be 39.98
new york - fire mobiles on 46.22 in many areas - county to county fire on 45.88
oklahoma - 155.76 - and 154.54 for ranchers
south dakota - was it 39.10 for 'state radio'?
texas - 37.18 and 37.26 - maybe police and fire - many rural areas
virginia - 39.50 - rural area fire maybe
west virginia - 46.14 for FDs - maybe 39.98 for police - maybe 37.14 ?
