crash was at 1010 am on weds april 24 2024
we checked broadcastify calls and openmhz - could not find the actual
dispatch anywhere
typically the airport CFR units are dispatched on the "ES DISP" talkgroup (TG)
units were told to switch to "RDU A" which is their first incident channel
on RDU A - the first unit arrived in 1 minute and reported heavy
damage to the plane - he then told the first arriving crash truck to
man their turret
dispatcher told the IC that he had 'first alarm fire' on Tac 37 - and
'first and second alarm EMS' on Tac 38 - the IC then told the
dispatcher to send the first alarm units to the airport fire station -
and to send escorts to the fire station
Raleigh FD also sent some units - maybe was 1 engine and 1 chief and ?
W1 ? - that was heard on the Raleigh FD Alert TG
