looks like the volunteers have been phased out and that all stations
now have at least 2 or 3 people on duty 24/7

they now have a huge county with very few firefighters - approx 100
total county population is 60K iirc
they could easily get wiped out like LA - they have heavy vegetation
everywhere - did not see any discussion of this in the annual county
fd report nor the calfire strategic plan - but we did not read them
closely - pretty sure that would have made the national news if they
did put it down in writing
