basically they are cutting out 50% of the hospital - no more ORs - no
more rehab - no more recovery beds - they really need to think about
what the area needs versus what it DOESNT need

lets think about this - with a CT machine - what can you do? you can
get a good look at bones inside a body - but afaik a MRI machine will
give a better view inside the body - so if Ayer has a CT machine -
they can probably handle broken bones and hip breaks - but everything
else needs to go to a bigger hospital
with a basic lab - they can detect most major infectious diseases and
detect major body system failures - but major cures require surgery -
again - anything major needs to go to a major hospital
lots of medicine nowadays is for pre-existing conditions - and they
typically involve RXs and minor therapy
am sure that medical professionals can better address this
