https://www.radioreference.com/db/browse/ctid/197 - kern county info
based on info from rrdb and macs 441-1
KRN 1 - paging channel maybe - maybe they only do paging at night -
not sure - primary response channel countywide for minor calls maybe
KRN 2 - countywide 2ndary channel - rrdb says this is CMD - MACS says
this is DISPATCH - take your pick
KRN 3 - apparently this is the Command channel for Batt 2 + 5 + 7 -
but MACS says this is countywide command
KRN 4 - command channel for Batt 3 + 8
KRN 5 - command channel for Batt 1
(rrdb needs to be updated - there is a new Batt 8 in the Ridgecrest area)
no Batt 4?
there are also independant repeater sites in very very rural areas -
both for ops and for interops
173.225 might be a MO3 channel for both the city fd and the county fd
- which is odd
per rrdb each command channel has a unique (tac channel / mobile only
channel) associated with it
