sequoia national forest - march 2025 listing of manpower

https://www.fs.usda.gov/r05/sequoia/fire/resources

this is basically a listing of all of their manpower - the total
manpower - the total of number people they could have on duty if every
person was on duty at the same time

total manpower is -

8 people per engine - which translates to 5 people daily for 8 hours
for 7 days per week ish

2 person per water tender - which translates to one two man crew 5
days per week - yes very weird

5 dispatchers in total

1 person per patrol truck

hand crews have 20 people

helitack crew has 14 people in total - maybe they fly daily with a
crew of 8 - note - no pilots and no mechanics listed - they might be
"contract staff" - not usfs employees

lookouts have 1 person each - which again is enough for 5 day coverage
perhaps - yes very weird
