Company 12 at "Old Station" has exactly 1 person - and he has been
there 40 years - only 50 people live in the town - he handles 150
calls per year - see page 20 of 34

- usfs runs 2 engines from Old Station in the summer - the closest
mutual aid stations are to north or south at about 12 miles out
maybe sta 12 got a new response policy in 2022 - all 3 of these county
stations are toned on all calls in the area now - which is wild of
course - 1 car fire gets 3 engines with 3 guys total - and the
furthest engine will be 24 miles out via mtn roads
