"Fire Rescue Services" are apparently 2 small fire stations that are
now run by the county with fully paid staff after the VFD(s) quit
EMS is the county ambulance service with approx 10 stations / outposts
EMO is the disaster planners - maybe hazmat also
there is no County Rescue Squad apparently
seems that several of the volunteer ambulances have shut down in recent years
there must be 15 VFD that do not go to EMS calls since only 4 FD are
listed as first responders at the NC rescue / ems directory - see the
zerg90 map for more info -
