when the politicians talk about the wildfires - their sole goal is to
divert attention from gross incompetence or gross criminality
they got away with it at the woolsey fire and the camp fire - so they
just keep doing it with zero repercussions
they dont care if the public gets mad - because there is no one else
to 'vote' for
if you play footloose and fancy free all day - sooner or later you
fall down - but some people are very lucky - they skate thru a entire
lifetime with no introspection
