dear chief - next red flag - everyone on duty - get every red (or
green or yellow) colored clunker out of oregon and washington that can
limp to LA - if there is 4 feet of snow on the ground in montana -
then there is no need for any type 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 engines in
montana (more or less) - drive them tp la - staff them with offduty la
firefighters
get every cop on duty - get every emt on duty also
of course 90% of red flags turn out to be nothing
someone needs to define 'red flag' vs PDS super red flag vs Class 5
versus extreme vs critical - seems to me that any wind event that is
dry and over 20 mph sustained is just a bomb waiting to go off again -
helos cant fly over 30 mph - right? - let that be the trigger point -
any red flag that will ground the aircraft gets full fd recall and
super mutual aid
