lets do an experiment - 1 county can take out the shrubs - 1 county
can take out the grasses - 1 county can do nothing - 1 county can take
out the trees
whoever is left standing after 10 years WINS
keep in mind - southern california has 2 types of topography - flat
and hilly - all the houses are in the flatlands - all the shrubs and
trees are in the hilly lands - the grasses and palm trees are
everywhere - very very generally speaking
when the rains come - and there is no vegetation - then everything
gets washed away
pick your poison
==========================
seems to me - they could try to do much more vegetation control in the
flatlands - get rid of the stupid palm trees - do they serve any
useful purpose? - do they provide any shade? - clean out all the trash
- button up the buildings - replace the weeds with gravel
then - if the hills are on fire - let them burn - we dont care
rich people that live in the hills wont like this angle
