this might be 10000% nonsense - maybe not
Helipad 1 - primary - 123.025
Helipad 2 - backup - 123.05
Helipad 3 - Air George - 155.385 - this is the medevac helo that
operates from this hospital - they just transport children apparently
- maybe no scene calls
not sure why H1 and H2 would have different radio channels
lets see what airNav.com has to say
H1 & H2 - 123.025; H3 - 138.355. - Lights - thats what airNav has to
say - https://www.airnav.com/airport/9CL6
airnav takes their info from the FAA afaik
yikes
we can probably assume that any and or all of those channels are
regularly used at the hospital - the 3 correct channels that is -
123.025 + 123.05 + 155.385
138.355 jut looks like a really bad typo
we can probably assime that 155.385 is used for the primary dispatcher
to air george link
123.025 and 123.05 are used nationwide for helo to helo comms - iirc
123.00 is aso used for helo comms nationwide
we can probably assume that the air george dispatcher has transceivers
on 155.385 and 123.05 and 123.025 - maybe 123.00 also
all of the channels might be cluttered by other users in the area -
the 155.385 channel might be the clearest chanel of them all
155.385 is a FM channel - 123.025 and 123.05 would be AM channels
every aircraft with a programmable AM 2 way radio can receive and
transmit on 123.025 and 123.05
anybody with a $10 CCR can receive and transmit on 155.385
harumph
