Update on the Purchase and Delivery for a New Ambulance Chief Retmier
also announced that the Chilmark Town Administrator and the Chilmark
Select Board have signed the contract for the purchase of a new
ambulance for Tri-Town. Ownership of the new ambulance is expected in
early August, with it likely entering service by mid to late August.
This new ambulance will replace the Charlie 90 ambulance, which has
been in operation for the past 22 years. The Charlie 90 will be
repurposed from a first-response ambulance to a special operations
vehicle.
