topography median home values etc - only 6 share same names - Baldwin
+ Elizabeth + Springdale

each one of these local governments has their own police and fire and
ems - except that approx 20% of them are served by a regional PD (not
the sheriff or county pd) - 10% are served by multi FDs - 35% are
served by regional ambulance services

unknown exactly how many do first responder service - but we can
figure it out - take the big list of total ems providers and subtract
out the ground ambulance providers- btw the state list of EMS agencies
is really lame - same for the county regional ems council - website

looking at radio reference - there seems to be 50 police dispatch
channel and 75 fire dispatch channels and 50 ambulance dispatch
channels - plus a ton of backup repeaters and simplex channels -
mostly on UHF - with most DPWs being on VHF

maybe 50% of fire stations are staffed by volunteers - maybe 15% of
ambulance stations are staffed by volunteers - and of course the cops
shoot any police volunteers that they find

note - none of the FDs serve more than 1 local government - or maybe 1
or 2 do - but generally speaking - it seems that very very very few
FDs cover outside their home municipality

note - there are city and township and borough governments listed -
there are also two MUNICIPALITIES listed - Bethel Park and Penn Hills
- not sure what that means

many of the local govts have very similar names - but only 6 share
the exact same names - its not like Illinois with Bumville City and
Bumville Twp all over the place
