worcester mass fd just sent 2 engines and a ladder and a chief to a
fire alarm system activation call
before the dispatcher started to speak on the fire dispatch TG she
sent out a 2 tone pager signal and it sounded exactly the same as the
two tone pager signal that was heard on the TV show Emergency! for
Station 51
coincidence? I think not!
(Hyannis FD does this also iirc)
BTW - the dispatcher assigned the assigned units to Ops Channel A -
she mentioned that on the 2nd reading of the initial dispatch iirc
