Critical Fire Weather in California; Heavy Rain And Flash Flooding
from Mid-Mississippi/Ohio Valleys to the Deep South

Gusty winds and very dry conditions will allow critical fire weather
threats to continue in California this weekend, especially in parts of
northern California where dangerous conditions will develop.
Meanwhile, tropical moisture will produce heavy rain and flash
flooding from parts of the Deep South to the Mid-Miss. Valley and Ohio
Valley on Saturday.

(central Nevada and northern coastal California have the Red Flags)

• Kincade Fire - CA; Tick Fire - CA
• Heavy rain and flooding possible – Middle Mississippi and Ohio
valleys and the Carolinas
• Elevated/Critical fire weather – CA

• Atlantic:
o Tropical Storm Pablo (FINAL)
• Eastern Pacific: No tropical cyclones are expected through the next 5 days
• Central Pacific: No tropical cyclones are expected through the next 5 days
• Western Pacific: No activity affecting U.S. interests
