FEMA Daily Ops Brief - red flags in CA

per weather.gov

Halloween: Extremely Critical Fire Weather In Southern California;
Severe Weather And Heavy Rain In The East

Critical and extremely critical fire weather threats continue across
southern California. The main drivers continue to be strong offshore
Santa Ana winds combined with very low relative humidity levels and
very dry fuels. Meanwhile, a large storm system with a powerful cold
front will impact much of the Eastern U.S. with severe thunderstorms
(damaging winds), heavy rain and possible flooding.
