Lingering Impacts from Cold Front and Melissa; Hagibis Remnants to
Bring Dangerous Seas to Bering Sea, Alaska
Cold temperatures will remain through mid week across the Upper
Midwest. Strong to severe storms may produce damaging winds in the
Carolinas today. Coastal flooding and other beach hazards are expected
to continue today on the East Coast as Tropical Storm Melissa moves
farther out to sea. Typhoon Hagibis remnants will produce
hurricane-force winds and 50-foot seas across the Alaskan Bering Sea.
