listening to their new scanner feed this morning around 8 am -
"Williamstown Fire Department" went to a fire alarm at a house - paged
twice in a row by "Williamstown Dispatch"
- Car 2 went to station - other units also - Car 1 went to scene -
Engine 1 responded
- sounded like most units were on a repeater (loud and clear) - one
unit seemed to be on simplex (fluttery)
- the fire officer in the home was 100% static (into the repeater)
- Fire Base signed on after approx 15 minutes - probably someone who
had gone to the fire station to man the radio
