cdc dr redfield on npr at 442 pm edt

wbur fm - cdc guy - we were perfect - basically thats whats he saying

he says the bad reagent was handled well - problem was discovered and fixed

443 pm - interview cut out 2 times - maybe its my radio

dr redfield from cdc was interviewed - he is the director iirc

---------------------

lets review - cdc swung immediately into action and immediately their
tests started to fail

seems to me that no one was testing the tests as they waited for a
pandemic to start somewhere in the world

why ? - billions supposedly were spent on preparedness - and the very
first thing they do is a FAIL

no clear answer given why WHO tests were not used - question was
referred to FDA (maybe their approval process was corrupted or a fail)
