looks like "pumps" do not carry any water - but they do have a hose
cart or pump cart
"tanks" have 500 gallon water tanks
so I am guessing that their procedure is - pump goes up the alley as
far as possible - then a hose is laid back to the "tank" to get tank
water - and pump operators have to hunt around for cisterns or
hydrants
