looking at this again - it seems that the laws are -
1. treason - fighting against the usa - adhering to enemies of the USA -
the most serious crime - punishable by death
2. rebellion or insurrection - fighting against the usa - maybe without a
foreign aspect
3. seditious conspiracy - conspiring with others to fight against the USA
4. advocating overthrow of government - organizing / teaching / publishing
5. failure to register as agent of foreign governement
6. activity against military
7. enlisting or recruiting against the USA
