it is not too common for electric utility companies to be run by town
governments in massachusetts - iirc braintree + belmont have them in
addition to merrimac - pretty sure they just deal with wires and poles
and transformers
wait - belmont always had a power station next to their police station
- does it still run? has it run since 1960?
braintree had 2 power stations at one time - 3 if you count the incinerator
reading had a light dept also
