rma - required initial attack freqs

All Initial Attack incidents will have the following frequencies assigned:

• Air-to-Air Primary
• Air-to-Ground
• Ground Tactical
• Command
• Flight Following

Once the incident exceeds the first operational period, all requests
for additional firefighting frequencies must be placed through
established dispatch channels to RMACC who will place the request to
NIICD. It may take up to 6 hours for new frequencies to be assigned.

in case you missed it - every fire gets assigned 5 channels on the
initial attack - although we suspect that during busy periods this
requirement may not be met for every fire - there simply are not
enough available channels (on paper anyhow) - for example if a
dispatch zone just has 2 a/g freqs assigned (as most do) - then
obviously the 3rd fire is gonna come up short
