las vegas DOES have high suicide rates

The suicide rate for Clark County was 19.4 per 100,000 in 2016-2018.
This is slightly lower than the state age-adjusted suicide rate of
20.8 per 100,000 but higher than the national rate of 13.9 per 100,000
population. Rates were highest among individuals who identify as
non-Hispanic White/Caucasian. The age-adjusted suicide mortality rate
for males was 29.2 per 100,000 compared to 10.0 per 100,000 for
females. The ZIP codes with the highest suicide mortality rates were
89109, 89029, 89005, 89134, and 89101.
