Similarly, the National Trauma Center in Kathmandu has started
offering 24-hour emergency surgical services. The hospital has
arranged for patients admitted for routine surgeries to be scheduled
within a week and for OPD to be scheduled within a month.
The Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center has
arranged to conduct surgeries within a month. The report also states
that the hospital has set up an online system for obtaining laboratory
reports.
Additionally, at Kanti Children's Hospital in Maharajgunj, the process
of adding six beds for emergency pediatric care and 20 beds for
monitoring has begun. The hospital has also improved its token system
to better manage crowds.
