61 (fulltime) ff/pm on staff
they added a ems captain and 1 ff/pm to staff a 3rd medic ambulance
that just works weekdays - this allows Tower 1 to be more available
for fire calls - since previously the tower crew would staff an
ambulance when needed
maybe they can even get 4 ambos on the road now
they respond to 92% of all calls in under 10 minutes - which seems to
be a 5 minute average response time - not sure exactly what time frame
they are measuring there - maybe dispatch to arrival at the address
they have a goal to get water on a fire in under 10 minutes 92% of the
time - which is an interesting concept

uscg staffing info - boston and cape cod ish
here is a little uscg staffing info - based on urinalysis numbers from
2021 - apparently they drug test everyone at least once per year - so
we found the listing of all the urinalysis tests for each element of
the uscg
Point Allerton - 65 people / tests
searching the list for 'cape cod' we got the following hits-
Maritime Safety and Security Team - 51 people - maybe at Otis or woods hole
MSD Cape Cod - 7 people - maritime safety detachment now maritime
safety unit - technical guys - work in an office
Base Cape Cod - 135 people - thats either otis or woods hole - not

and a funding slot in the budget
so if a motor lifeboat is staffed by 4 people when they go on a
mission - and they have 4 crews to staff the boat - with each crew
working 24 hours on duty and then 72 hours off duty - then the billets
for that particular boat would be - 4 captains + 4 drivers + 4 deck
swabbers and 4 poopdeckers - ie - it takes 16 fulltime staff members
to keep one boat in operation 24/7/365
if they work 24 on and only 48 off - then they need 12 people to fully
staff that boat 24/7/365
its the same in the FDs - they dont use the term billets - FD uses the
term 'positions" or FTE or staff or members - but its based on the
same factors such as shift length and daily staffing etc

Croatia has 6 Canadair CL-515's in their fleet, with 2 more De
Havilland Canada DHC-515's on order. The crews of these planes
certainly earned their pay, this day. Well done… and cheers from
CANADA.

Croatia has six CL-415s, one of which is already broken and is being
used as a spare parts warehouse. Therefore, Croatia still has five
CL-415s. Two CL-515s have been ordered but have been fully paid for by
the EU and do not belong to Croatia. However, Croatia still has six
Air Tractor AT-802s.
