ESD 5 went into op in feb 2025
apparently what they did was - merged the Lockhart City EMS and Luling
City EMS into a countywide ambulance service
one part of the county is served by ambulances from San Marcos which
is just over the county border
not sure if there is an ambulance in the north end of the county or not
