Heavy Rain Expected In The Mid-Atlantic; Strong System Sweeps Into Plains

Locally heavy rainfall and a few severe thunderstorms are possible
over the Mid-Atlantic into eastern North Carolina, as the remnants of
Nestor move across the region today. Elsewhere, a very strong storm
system will sweep into the Plains and severe thunderstorms with very
large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain and a few tornadoes are
expected from parts of Texas and Oklahoma into Arkansas.
