what if they had an industrial pumper with a 2000 gallon tank and a
5000 GPM pump and a 5000 GPM nozzle ? - maybe they could reach out 300
feet with the nozzle - they could put a 600 foot barrier along the
road

but maybe it would be pointless - maybe the fire would just continue
301 feet from the road on both sides - at most you would save the
utility poles

what if they had a drone that could drag a rubber hose line 1000 feet
from the road ? - and apply cafs or retardant - that might work - I
bet that a drone could drag a small rubber hard 1 inch hose out 1000
feet - the hose would not need to be in the air for the entire 1000
feet

fire truck would need to have a big / huge reel to hold 1000 feet of
rubber hose - I am sure that is doable - have seen reels with 1 mile
of 5 inch hose - they are huge but they work
